Faith Unfiltered Life was born from a simple conviction: real growth happens when we stop pretending and start living with courage, conviction, and clarity. Karen writes and leads at the intersection of faith, leadership, health, and personal responsibility—inviting others to live anchored, honest, and spiritually resilient lives.

Jojo is a passionate content creator, worship leader, songwriter, and most importantly, a devoted worshiper of Jesus. Her journey is marked by loss, brokenness, surrender, and authenticity, as she share her life without filters, fully committed to the pursuit of Christ. Jojo is  the unfiltered in Faith Unfiltered Life. While her path isn’t perfect, she embraces a daily surrender to Him, striving to live out His purpose in everything she does.

​She is blessed to be married to her wonderful husband, who is also a co-host on this podcast, and together, they navigate the joys and challenges of life while raising their beloved son.

Leon is a husband, father, and most importantly a follower of Christ who is learning, day by day, what it truly means to walk with Jesus—not in highlight reels, but in the quiet, unseen moments of ordinary life—and that ongoing journey is exactly what he brings to the mic as host of Faith Unfiltered Life. His story is one of being pursued by Jesus and gradually moving from trying to manage everything in his own strength to surrendering his plans, pressures, and identity to the Lord, a posture that shapes the honest and vulnerable tone of every conversation.

Leon cares deeply about a faith that makes room for doubt, struggle, and real questions so they can be met with real grace in God’s presence. More than titles or achievements, what matters most to him is growing as a son of God—learning to hear His voice, obey in the small things, and trust that Christ is enough in every season—while inviting others to walk their own unfiltered journey of faith alongside him.

John's faith journey is both simple and complex. Growing up in church, John was taught all the stories, hymns and scripture fragments preached from week to week. He was really good at "playing church" and participating in the Sunday masquerade party that exists in many congregations. It was not until decades later he discovered the God of fire and brimstone he grew up with was also a God who loved him intimately, even with all the mistakes he had made.

When John was able to reconcile that as deep as his sin was, God's grace ran deeper, he began a journey to identify for himself who the God of the Bible was, instead of taking other people's word for it. "Why would I leave the single most important decision of my eternity in other people's hands, when I can go straight to God's Word and find the answers for myself?" Aside from his never-ending goal of being a disciple of Christ, John's joy is found in his marriage to Sara, and his love for their 7 children and 5 grandchildren.
